1. Who we are
This site is run by Jack West trading as Spark Integrations, ABN 87 983 457 353, Sydney, Australia. In this policy, “we” means Jack West trading as Spark Integrations. You can reach us at jack.west@sparkintegrations.com.au.
2. What we collect
- What you type into an enquiry form: your name, email address, business, phone number if you give one, and your message.
- The project-builder brief on the start a project page. It stays in your browser's session storage until you send it, and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Calendly bookings, if you book a call. Calendly collects what you enter there.
- Your IP address, which we use for a rate limit on the enquiry form and for the Cloudflare Turnstile check that tells people from bots.
- Server logs kept by our host, Vercel, such as request time, page and IP address.
- One setting in your browser's local storage: whether you paused motion and demos.
- No advertising cookies, and no analytics.
3. How we use it
We use it to reply to you, to scope and quote work you ask about, to keep the site secure and to fix faults. We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you have agreed to it.
4. Who handles it, and where
Some of the services we use to run the site hold your information on our behalf. Under Australian Privacy Principle 8, here is who they are and where.
- Vercel: hosts this site and keeps request logs.
- Cloudflare: runs the Turnstile bot check.
- Supabase: stores enquiries in our internal system. Region: Australia (Sydney).
- Calendly: handles call bookings.
- Our email provider: delivers the replies we send you.
Some of these providers may process data outside Australia. We choose providers that publish their own privacy and security terms.
5. Security
Under Australian Privacy Principle 11 we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. On our default Vercel and Supabase stack, data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Some of those terms in plain words:
- TLS 1.2+
- Encryption for data travelling between your browser and our servers.
- AES-256
- The standard used to encrypt stored data.
- Row-level security (RLS)
- Database rules that decide which records each signed-in user can read or change.
6. How long we keep it, and deletion
We keep an enquiry for as long as it is needed to answer it and to run any project that follows, then delete it or remove what identifies you. Ask us at any time and we will delete what we hold about you, unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email us and we will reply within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
8. Notifiable data breaches
If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
9. Complaints
Tell us first at jack.west@sparkintegrations.com.au and we will try to put it right. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
